           Backman started chasing his dream of being a music producer at age 17. “I was beating on pots and pans as a kid and in high school, I would beatbox for various peers in their freestyle sessions,” says Backman. His passion to produce music was discovered only after he had been rapping since age 14. Backman states, “I was using free soundclick beats heavy. I came across Tennessee producer Paramount and his ‘Hollow Tips’ beat was so sick, I just had to inquire about the software he used. I felt a need to express myself through the sounds of music itself versus recording lyrics to the music. He put me on to Fruity Loops and it’s been on ever since!”
Now at age 23 and residing in Clinton, Maryland, Backman has worked with a number of underground artists in the Washington, DC metropolitan area and  has even been a part of DC’s Dynamic Producer Showcase. Some of these artists include Luck, Kritical Assasin, E of 3rd Finger Records, Twon of Hood Records, OJ Drizzle, R.A.W (Ready And Willing), and most recently Coach. Backman started working closely with Coach towards the end of 2011. He is now producing tracks for his first album titled, “The Debut.”​
